Anyone recognize this vehicle? They poached a deer off Fantastic Caverns property this morning. They shot a large buck from a red SUV @9:20 am then returned with this black rig to pick up the carcass @9:45 am. Department of Conservation is searching the neighborhood.

Thank you to the neighbors and Willard Firemen for volunteering your time in cleaning up the old Oak Tree.

As a neighbor said "We lost a piece of history at Schuyler last night." This large oak tree was on the north side of the west drive way. This is the same tree that was struck by lightning several years ago. Thankful there was no damage to the school house. Neighbors will work together to clean up the storm damage.

Hope all of you are staying safe during this very different time in all of our lives. We had to cancel our Schuyler March chili cook-off and April spring fund raising breakfast due to the virus. We have missed seeing our friends and neighbors at our Schuyler events. We will stay tuned to see if we can have our Mexican night on May 16th. Below is a very nice letter from Lewis McKinley, a Schuyler alumni. Stay safe.

My complete statement to KY3 This is an issue of great importance to me as it impacts not only my constituents but also my family and friends who live in the a...rea. This is where I grew up and it’s extremely important to me that we ensure everyone here has access to clean, safe drinking water. I have worked closely with the Department of Natural Resources to ensure residents’ wells are expeditiously tested upon their request. The Department is doing another round of testing and I expect those to be completed and evaluated by the end of the month. Per my request, the Department of Natural Resources has agreed to hold an informational meeting for the public and I anticipate this meeting to be in the very near future once we have accurate and up to date information. I will continue to monitor this issue and keep everyone who could be impacted updated with the latest information. https://www.ky3.com//Homeowners-share-TCE-test-results--50 See more
