Shocked and so sad to hear about our great friend, Bobby Plager! He was always willing to help our program out whenever asked. He never turned us down. What a great ambassador he was not only for the Blues but for the city of St Louis. Our hearts and prayers for the Plager family. RIP Bobby Plager. Number 5 in the program, number 1 in our hearts forever! #5 You will be missed by so many in the hockey community.

We’re both an inspiration for When I Get to St. Louis and a charitable beneficiary of sales proceeds - so please come out! One of our rock stars will even do a LIVE READING at 1:00 pm! Great for kids of all ages

Blues Special Hockey congratulates Ryan O’Reilly for being the Blues nominee for the NHL King Clancy Memorial Trophy. The King Clancy Memorial Trophy is awarded annually to the National Hockey League (NHL) player who best exemplifies leadership qualities on and off the ice and who has made a significant humanitarian contribution to his community. ROR donated his private suite to BSH players, families and coaches numerous times throughout the season. Win or lose, he always m...et everyone after the game for pictures and autographs. The last and only Blues’ player to win this trophy was Kelly Chase in 1998 for his community work with the Gateway Locomotives. We all thank you Ryan and wish you all the best throughout the playoffs. LGB.

Tuesday night was Hockey is for Everyone at the Blues game. Blues Special Hockey player, Donald Ringling, #18 hung around after the anthem and gave some Blues’ players some advice. Donald has been with Gateway Locomotives/Blues Special Hockey since day one in January, 1994 so he has plenty of tips to give. They must have listened as they won 8-3.

Blues Special Hockey had to cancel their exhibition game and fundraiser due to weather on Saturday, Jan 12th at St Peters Recplex South. We are working with St Peters to reschedule both the game and the main raffle drawing for the autographed Alex Ovechkin jersey and the door prize raffle of the Ryan O’Reilly autographed jersey. Stay tuned for the new date and time. Thanks to everyone for your support.
