Brethren, Hope you all are staying healthy and doing well. I don't know about all of you but I have missed Lodge and everyone of my Brothers. We are going to shoot for Thursday June 4th to start back our State Communications. We will open at 7pm and we will not eat. Please practice social distancing to the best we can. We ask for you when you arrive go directly into Lodge and take a seat leaving a minimum of two seats empty between each other. We are going to try and have s...ome hand sanitizer available for all. If anyone has any extra hand sanitizer please bring it. Lets stay safe. Below are some guidelines we will need to follow. If anyone is sick at all PLEASE stay home. I am excited to get back to see all my Brothers. Brethren, As you all know we are in a time that all this is new and changing daily. First and foremost is the health and well being of every Brother. Taking that into consideration we will not be have a meeting on May 7th. As the month on we will reevaluate the situation and plan accordingly. CANCELED MEETING!!!!!!! Brethren, After giving this some major thought I have decided to cancel our scheduled Meeting on Thursday March 19th due to the Coronavirus outbreak. I know there are no reported cases in the area but lets just play it safe. At this time we will plan on having our Stated Communication on April 2nd but we will monitor this situation very closely. We will send out updates out as we get them.... Please stay safe in this time. My prayers go out to the health of each and everyone of you. Brethren, Just wanted to let everyone know the we will be doing a Masonic Funeral for WB Don Dillman on Friday at 2pm. Below is RWB Doug Davis post on the District Page. There will be Aprons there. Lets show our finally respects to WB Dillman and thank him one final time for everything he has done for Masonry. "Brethren I will be conducting a Masonic Memorial Service for Brother Donald Dillman, a 34 year member of Savannah Lodge #71 , at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home, 1010 US-71 BUS, Savannah, MO, at 2:00pm, Friday, January 24th. Any Masonic Brother who could attend and share a final moment of respect for a departed Brother would be greatly appreciated. "

Sad news to report. According to City of Savannah officials, Mayor Don Dillman has passed away. Dillman has been Mayor since 2017 and is a longtime active mem...ber of the community. Before being elected Mayor, Dillman was a city councilman and member of the city's planning and zoning board. He was retired from an accounting career with United Electric. (File Photo) See more
