Rocking P Ranch Sirloin Tip Roast is so flavorful! I seasoned with salt, garlic and thyme, put it in the oven with maybe a cup of water (covered) at 225 degrees for about 5 hours, pulled it out and pulled it apart with a fork. I can use it as a base meat in so many dishes! One of my favorites quick meals is to put a tortilla on a paper plate, add some of this shredded deliciousness, add a little thick cut shredded cheese and microwave for 30 to 60 seconds. Where does your hamburger come from? All of the ground beef you get in a package from Rocking P Ranch comes from one steer that spent it’s life at Rocking P Ranch. Born and raised by a cow in our herd then weaned and moved to a paddock (pasture) with other steers, it has a grass/hay-based diet supplemented with corn/oat mix to finish. Our steers go to Swiss Meats, a USDA inspected facility, to be harvested. Each steer is processed individually so all the meat in that pound package of ground beef is from one steer. That’s not how it’s done at big packing plants. Not saying the way they do it is wrong. It’s different. We can tell you exactly which steer your meat comes from. We like ours a little pink in the middle Rocking P Ranch ground beef is available in 1# packages. Let us know how many pounds you need!
