Mr. Bean: Director of Love & Compassion

Since my adoption in 2011, I have poured a TON of love and compassion into each day at Ronald McDonald House Charities of Kansas City, and I can trot away knowing I played a small part of over 13,000 families' home away from home in my 8 years here. Thank you to all of the families that shared a snuggle, dried tears and let me walk alongside them. It has been an honor. #ImNotCryingYouAreCrying #RetirementDay

Happy 9th birthday to me! 8 years ago I came to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Kansas City to take the best job around - to give comfort, love and snuggles to the families staying at their (now) three Houses as the Director of Love & Compassion. But, its time for me to retire and stay at home with my mama and brother to get a lot of sleep and maybe even a side job doing taxes in my older age. (I'm very good at math!) I'll spend my last day at work on March 26 - I hope to give you a snuggle sometime before then! I'll be back periodically for special events ... my heart will always be there! #KeepingFamiliesClose
