Ritter Springs Park

The Park Board's Outdoor Initiatives program is proud to partner with WOW School to offer a family camping and outdoor recreation weekend at Ritter Springs Park... April 13-14. Activities for ages 9 and up range from horsemanship to pottery, kayaking to a cave crawl, plus a special all-day kids' camp for ages 4-8. The Ritter Springs Park Camp Out planned for this weekend is postponed, due to weather. Event will be rescheduled in June, registered participants will be notif...ied. On a related note, YES! Saturday's Cherry Blossom Kite and Piñata Festival is happening, with crafts, performers and activities moved indoors to the Botanical Center, if necessary. The 3 p.m. Peace Through People Pavilion dedication concert and sculpture unveiling is also proceeding as planned, indoors if necessary.
