Sadly it was stained by the ink from my printer when I washed away the stabilizer, but Jessica had the brilliant idea to use watercolor paint to fix it! It worked pretty good! Some late night stitching from last night! I’ve gotten really into embroidery lately, I’ve been doing it off and on for a few years, but got into it more in the last year when I bought @gulushthreads 200 flowers book! . .... This pattern is by @jessicalongembroidery and you can buy it on her Etsy shop! This is my second pattern purchase from her and I absolutely love her guides. Really easy to follow for someone like me who is a visual and do-it learner. She has even made video tutorials! . . . You can have your opinions on riots and looting, but bear in mind riots have changed history here for the better. 1. The American Revolution was founded on riots and looting. 2. We only have the little protections for our LGBTQ+ folks we have now due to riots and looting from Stonewall. 3. The 19th amendment was ratified thanks to a riot. 4. The Haymarket riot of 1886 led to increased worker protections.... 5. The Birmingham Riot of 1963 led to the signing of the Civil Rights act in 1964. . . I’m not here to argue, I’m not here to tell you how to spend your time. But if we all do better, if we all just take the time to care about someone else and listen to them, ask how to help and actually follow through, things will get better.
