The skies are getting darker. Be safe and seek appropriate shelter indoors if the severe storms head our way. Remember: * Wipers on, headlights on; * Leave extra space between you and the vehicle in front of you; ... * Drive around flooded roads; * Take your time (I like to say: 'Drive like you're taking your driving test for the first time.' Have you seen this Who? RHPD is scouring the City of Richmond Heights, MO - Government in an effort to capture the.. the.. the... THE GRINCH! We'll be joyful and triumphant when this mean one is safely in custody. Word is this bad banana has been seen slinking around the dump on Mount Crumpit (SLUNK!), stealing miniature cars, and flaunting his freedom at the 5:30 jazzercize class. The insolence! The audacity! The unmitigated gall! Once we catch this three-decker sauerkraut ...and toadstool sandwich, Whos of all ages can join in the Whobilation as we take socially distant Photos with The Grinch on December 19th, 2020 from 10:45am-1:30pm. Registration is open now, see the event page or contact THE HEIGHTS at 3146451476 for more information. If you'd like to fax them, press the star key!

Buzz from the Fuzz: What's happening in RH? - Hotels are supposed to feel like a home away from home, but maybe some activities would be better kept in your room? Officers responded to check the welfare of an intoxicated subject wandering a local hotel parking lot in their underwear. We bet you're assuming this happened in the middle of the night, but... nope. It was like 3pm. - Officers responded to investigate a vehicle stolen overnight after the key fob was left inside (sa...y it with us now: #9PMRoutine). While gathering information from the victim, officers discovered a vehicle with a broken window parked outside of the victim's home. The vehicle turned out to be stolen from another venue and was likely left by the same suspect. - Another pistol was stolen from a vehicle after the vehicle was left unlocked and unattended for several days. Please, friends, we beg you. Help us help you. - While assisting with a crash on the highway, one of our patrol vehicles was struck by a passing motorist. Fortunately, no injuries were reported in this incident; but it serves as an important reminder to slow down, move over a lane, and stay alert when passing emergency vehicles. Our vehicles serve as the only barrier between first responders and oncoming traffic, and drivers can often become distracted by our lights and fail to see other potential hazards in the roadway. - After a busy weekend, one of our police mom's decided the squad kneaded a pick-me-up from STL Pretzel Boys. We literally can knot even with how delicious they were! - We are proud to display this beautiful artwork from scout Troop 2684 in our patrol room! You've all definitely earned your petal in our book!
