Today I was invited to the Pastor and Community Leader Luncheon Anti-Violence Summit I am all-things-kids so I felt honored to represent New Life St Louis in... this do-tank (as opposed to think-tank) and to publicly voice our pain over the kids who are getting killed in the streets of St. Louis. When I spoke today I expressed my belief that the church is the most powerful force for change on the earth. The Mayor asked for each church to adopt a street. She wants us to not only get our street cleaned up but to get to know the residents and watch over our neighborhood and care for each other. That’s awesome cause we’re already doing that. Now we’ll get a sign on our street that says we adopted it. The church has the answers for the world today.
