Maybe weighed 150 lbs, never touched a weight after a failed bench press in front of a bunch of guys at a football c...amp before my freshman year gave me pretty bad social anxiety about it. I used to lie to coaches in high school and college about strength and conditioning workouts cause of the fear of it happening again in front of my teammates. The picture on the right was me last year after my first bodybuilding show. About 10 years ago, after semi pro soccer was done for me, I wanted to find myself something that pushed me mentally and physically like soccer did, so I gave weight training another go. To this day it’s something I wish so bad I would’ve done earlier. Not only was it so good for me physically, but mentally as well. It gave me the possibility of so many new goals to set for myself, and made me feel better and perform better than I ever did before.
