Sad announcement from PCD We just sent an email to our current families. We need to cancel the remainder of our session. We are SO sorry and miss your kiddos already.

NEW Coronavirus Update! Parents, I just sent out an important email. I've also included it below. We will have classes tomorrow morning. After tomorrow, all classes are cancelled thru 3/31. We understand that you may have some sad kiddos... we are sad too! BUT we do understand and appreciate that the city is being proactive about everyone's health. We will get through this! Parents, The Civic Center just let me know that they are cancelling all rentals and events startin...g 3/16 thru 3/31. We will be having classes tomorrow. After tomorrow's classes, we will be cancelling all classes thru 3/31. This situation is changing rapidly, at this point the Civic Center is unsure if they will be resuming with rentals after 3/31. As soon as I have more information, I will let you know what this means for the rest of our session. I know there will be some disappointed kids at home. I'm disappointed too! I will be sharing some helpful resources on our Facebook page for staying active and keeping kids creative during this time. I'm thinking of you all and your families! Coronavirus Update: We take everyone's health VERY seriously here at Platte City Dance! Here are a few of the things we are doing during classes: -Hand sanitizer station by the check-in sheet. Please use it before and after class! -We will not be holding hands during class or shaking hands after class -We'll be reminding our students to keep their hands to themselves ... -We will temporarily NOT using props during class (this one makes me sad..but it is for the best!) Thanks in advance for your cooperation! We will be keeping an active watch on the current situation and keep ALL our families updated if things change.
