Piedmont License Office

We have officially been notified by the State, our last day of operation will be September 30th. The new Contract for the Piedmont License Office has been awarded to License Office Services, Sarah Dent. They have purchased the old First Midwest Bank building and will be open for business October 4th in that location. Several renovations, including ADAA bathroom and automatic doors to assist all customers will be provided per their contract. If you have any licenses coming ...up soon for renewal or need new licenses, we are able to assist you through the end of this month. If you have specific questions feel free to ask me in person or by phone please. This post is not for debate or to start any negative threads. It's simply to inform the public. Although this is not the outcome we had hoped for, I'm very proud of our accomplishments. We were able to keep the office local to serve Piedmont and surrounding communities in a professional manner, running a clean business with beautiful new facilities. I've had the pleasure of working with great people who recognize the importance of their job. When you see the clerks around town, please tell them how much you appreciate them. Working through the pandemic has been especially challenging. They stepped up and eagerly adapted to the changes. They will be great assets to their new employers as they've each found new opportunities elsewhere. Once the contract transfer takes place, I will be disabling this page. It's been a great pleasure serving our community with their licensing needs. I will truly miss this. The insurance offices will remain open and running strong for years to come. In observance of Independence Day, Piedmont License Office will be CLOSED, Friday, July 3rd so our employees can participate in the weekend community festivities! Happy Birthday America!

With the recent closure and response to the COVID-19 needs, the Department of Revenue has given permission for the Piedmont License Office to begin accepting registration renewals by phone. We will begin this additional service option Monday, May 11th. We must still verify all required documentation to process the renewals. If we are unable to verify insurance, personal property, etc in DOR systems, customers may submit a copy either via fax or email. Once the transaction is complete, we will then discuss options for drive-up pickup, or mail of your renewal tabs. Piedmont License Office is scheduled to reopen on Monday, May 4th. We will be operating with normal business hours, which are 8:30-5 Monday-Friday. Lines will form outside, so feel free to wait in your vehicles if/when appropriate. We ask for your patience as we catch up from the closure. Also, please be mindful of Social Distancing recommendations. If you're not well, please stay home. We want to keep our staff, customers, and community safe during this time! The health and safety of our employees and customers are our primary concern. Beginning on Monday, March 23rd, we will be limiting the number of customers that will be in our lobby. We will have a clerk at the door inviting customers in. Please be prepared to wait in your car until a clerk is available to process your transaction.

Have you received your 911 official Address Change from the Wayne County Commissioner, or recently moved? The online service below may be used to update the mailing address information on your Missouri Driver License Record. If you want to update the address printed on an instructions permit, driver license, or non-driver license that you carry in your wallet, you must present acceptable documents to apply and pay for the updated card at a Missouri license office.
