Whichever grade you have graduated from this year, we are proud of you!! We all know this year was tough on our kids (and teachers and parents). Let us celebrate with you!! Post a picture of our graduate! Preschool, elementary, junior high, high school or college! We would love to see them all!

We are so excited that many of our employees were able to get their COVID vaccine today.

We are so exited that Dr Stasic, Dr Kubart, Dr Finn and Dr Malone got the opportunity to get the Covid vaccine at St Lukes Northland, We are making progress in getting our staff vaccinated! This will keep them safe and our patients as well as we move forward to conquer this virus.

As we welcome the new year, we want to take a moment to wish Pediatric Care North a Happy 32nd Birthday!!! 32 years ago today, Dr Susan Storm and Dr Laurie Riddell opened their practice in the Northland. We now have 14 doctors and nurse practitioners including a child and adolescent psychiatrist. We have grown from a staff of 4 to 56. We have seen kids grow up and become parents of their own and we are honored to take care of those second generation patients. Thank you to all of you for entrusting your children’s health in us. Words cannot express how grateful we are to get to be a part of your lives and watch your children grow and flourish. Thank you for making the last 32 years memorable, and we look forward to celebrating many more birthdays with you and your children!

It saddens me that we did not get to have our big Halloween trick or treating at our practice this year due to Covid. I am impressed at the creative social distancing that people have come up with. As we have missed seeing our patients dressed up, please post a picture of your child here to share with us! We would love to see them!

We had our final drive by flu clinic last Saturday with UMKC Med student help! It was a bit chilly, but successful! Hundreds have received their flu vaccines this year by drive through. Social distancing candy and prices were given. We still have flu shot availability in our practice. Call if you haven’t gotten yours yet!

Due to the overwhelming response and how smoothly our first two drive-thru flu vaccine clinics went, we will be having one more this year. We will be doing this on Saturday, October 24th from 1-3. Please call 816-587-3200 to schedule. This will be our last one this year, but we will definitely do it again next fall. Thank you to everyone who participated and gave such a positive response!!

We had another successful turnout for our second drive through flu clinic. I’m so proud of our amazing staff and crew! The kids did a great job too!

We are open for sick visits today from 9 am to 12 pm (last appt is scheduled at 11:45 am). Today is also our 2nd flu drive thru clinic from 1 pm to 5 pm. This is for PCN patients only. We will have room for a few extras so come by if you are in the area.

Our office is looking for someone energetic and friendly to join our front office staff. Hours are full time, Monday-Friday; evenings and occasional Saturdays are required. Congratulations to one of our original nurses! Mary Kay is retiring after 30 years of amazing love and care for our patients. We are very excited for her next adventure, but we will miss her very much. We Love you, Mary Kay and wish you all the best!
