Hello to all! I know it has been a while and for that, I am so sorry. It’s been a wild ride since re-opening. I (Amy Jester-Langston/owner) would like to thank each and every one of our amazing guests for your kindness, patience and understanding as we venture through all of this new and uncharted territory. I know, I speak for everyone else at Salon 104, WE APPRECIATE YOU! As of now, things won’t be much different in the salon except, We WILL BE TAKING (Non-Contact) TEMPERA...TURES UPON ARRIVAL. Face masks WILL BE REQUIRED INSIDE SALON 104 in ALL common areas AT ALL TIMES! The door will remain locked for now. Please, know your stylists phone number upon making an appointment and let them know when you are in the parking lot and they will let you in accordingly. It is imperative that everyone coming and going adheres to these rules. It is mandated. It is not our call. We as a whole, WILL ABIDE TO ANY AND ALL MANDATES MADE BY THE CITY OF SPRINGFIELD and/or GREENE COUNTY. At this time, we are only accepting appointments by phone. No Walk-Ins at this time. Hello!!!! Believe me when I say, SALON 104 HAS MISSED ALL OF YOU!!! We will be re-opening next Tuesday, May 5th. There will however be a few VERY STRICT guidelines to follow in this first phase of re-opening. 1. Please be patient with us. We are still humans. We are all a little scared. We will probably take a little longer on services than in the past. This is for the safety of our clients, young and old as well as our safety and the health of our family members. 2. NO ONE... will be allowed into the salon for any reason without a face mask on. This is a county/city guideline and we WILL enforce it 100%. I have ordered disposable masks that may be purchased for $1. We would prefer if you have your own, please wear it. These masks for sale are for individuals that may not have access to any others. Please be respectful of these. Again, no mask, NO SERVICE! 3. We will be at the maximum capacity of occupants per CDC requirements. You will be required to wait in your car until your Stylist comes to get you. We are working extremely hard to get everyone in in a timely fashion. Arrive ON TIME and be prepared to wait in your car until we come to get you. 4. As soon as your stylist has waived you into the salon with your face mask on, you will be required to immediately wash/sanitize your hands. Please, do not touch anything between the sink and your appointed service location. Do not dig in your purse, play on your phone or touch your face. Failure to comply will result in you being asked to leave the salon. 5. If you are sick or feeling sick, PLEASE RESCHEDULE!!! Again, be respectful of us. We have a lot of catching up to do and it is not fair for us to get sick because you came in sick and infected someone. 6. If you are immunocompromised, please consider waiting. There will be countless people in and out over the next few weeks. We DO NOT want anyone to get sick from our Salon. 7. The complementary drink station that is normally provided will be off limits until further notice. 8. I cannot express this enough....BE KIND. BE RESPECTFUL. BE PATIENT. We are all doing our best in these uncharted waters. It’s not going to help or benefit anyone by being impatient, rude or nasty. Again, we as stylists are still human. We are not robots or machines. We will be tired. We will be overworked. It’s NOT our fault! 9. Failure to comply with any and all of these guidelines will result in your removal of the premises. This is mandated by Greene County and will be strictly followed by all members of Salon 104. Thank you for your business and we all look very forward to seeing you in the upcoming weeks! Hello Friends! Well, I hate to have to post this but, we unfortunately will be forced to close for the next 30 days. This is going to be extremely difficult but, we will get thru it! We were all hoping to be back behind the chair in the next week or two but that’s not going to happen. I’m sorry. If there was any way to change it, I promise, we all would!! I am so sad to make this post but, due to the welfare of my elderly clients as well as my family and self, I will not be booking any new appointments for the time being. If you already have an appointment booked, do not worry....I will be there unless something changes and I will contact you personally. As of today and days ahead, Salon 104 is willing to provide services until further notice. As providers, We ask that YOU take every precautionary step to keep us from being infected by any communicable disease. Please, know that WE service all types and ages of people and we need to keep EVERYONE in mind during this pandemic. Please, if you think you might be sick or have been in contact with someone that is sick, reschedule for a different time. This does not ONLY include... the COVID-19. Any type of flu symptoms as well. Please, Be respectful of your provider most definitely, But also the ones that may follow after your appointment that could potentially be subjected to life threatening viruses. We have such a wide range of clientele and want to keep serving you the best that we can. If we are exposed and become sick, we will be forced to close.
