To Lion Tim Adams, for all you do to support our community, the Edwid Dalstrom Award from Mid South Sight and Hearing. Well deserved
Lend Mae Fulton was always beside our charter member Lion Bill Fulton in everything Bill did in our club. She was a warm caring person who loved people. This little brick is a replica of a brick in the walkway at Leader Dogs for the Blind Headquarters at Rochester MI. She made a major impact on all she taught to one and all

Lion Jay had surgery on his pelvic ring injury and had 3 major repairs which were repaired through percutaneous fixation-small incisions through the skin using x-ray guidance (a relatively non-invasive procedure). All went well and as expected. These big bones bleed a lot and and this surgery would help stop this. Late last night: He is responding appropriately, talking pretty quietly, breathing room air (no oxygen needed), O2 is 100%, heart rate/rhythm was fine. Low blood p...ressure issues due to blood loss-received 1 unit of blood and responded well. He knew he was in the hospital but wasn't sure which one (understandably), he knew answers appropriately like arm, leg, left, right. He is Covid Free now and cleared to move to regular ICU. No other surgeries scheduled at this time. Any further would be based on MRI and CT findings which they are doing this morning. Please pray for Lion Jay and Lion Jo
Yesterday 2 of our Lions were in a vehicle accident on Hwy 72. Jay Mithem has been flown to Barnes hospital with broken hips, cuts, bruises over his entire body. His has a moderate brain bleed that the doctors are controlling. The hip breaks are causing secondary issues with bone marrow bleeding that is requiring surgery. Lion Jay is in ICU as he has tested positive again for COVID-19. Lion Joe is in ST Francis Hospital with 6 broken bones in her back. She also got banged pretty badly in the wreck. She will take calls on her cell if you have her #. I ask that you keep them in your hearts and pray and support their family through this awful time. Love and prayers from all the Patton Lions.
