The 2020 spring athletic season is over for all the Park University Athletic Teams. Due to the quick spread of the COVID-19 virus, the American Midwest Conference decided to cancel all the sports events through the end of the academic year. https://www.stylusonline.org//student-athletes-share-thei/

Video update by Park University President Greg Gunderson: Main points: Campus is at a modified closed status and closed to the public.... 91% of faculty and staff are working from home. 75 students are still living in housing at the Parkville campus. Dr. Gunderson calls for people taking as many precautions as possible to protect their health. ICYMI: Starting tomorrow, March 21, the Parkville campus' dining hall in Thompson is moving to carry out only. This is a measure they're taking to comply with Platte County's public health order. Students will be able to select what goes into their to-go boxes and can choose a bottled beverage. Pirate Pantry is still open during it's typical hours:... Tuesday 11:30 am to 1:30 pm Wednesday 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm Friday 11:30 am to 1:30 pm Thompson Cafe hours remain the same: 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. Residence Life has purchased more cooking pans and utensils to be used in the residence halls' kitchens.

Park updates: May 9th graduation ceremony has been cancelled. Students graduating in May are encouraged to attend the Dec. 12 graduation. NAIA has cancelled all winter and spring athletics. Park is still honoring all athletic scholarships.
