Attention Current Dog Park Members: Lights at the Dog Park are currently out of service. The custom parts required to complete the repair have been ordered. As a reminder, Sections 215.180 and 215.060 of the City’s Municipal Code states all dogs must remain on a leash at all times in parks, on sidewalks, and in other public locations unless they are in designated off-leash dog areas. Violations can result in a ticket/ fine for each offense. To report a dog running at large or you require assistance for an animal control issue, please contact Overland Animal Control (Tom) at (314) 227-2823 OR contact St. Louis County Animal Contro...l at (314) 615-0650 between 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. After hours and weekends, please call St. Louis County Dispatch at (636) 529-8210. Owners must also clean up after their pets while on walks or in public spaces (ORD Section 215.120). In addition, please note that any dog housed within the City of Overland that is more than four months of age must be registered with and licensed by the City. Although we are unable to meet in person for our Annual Senior Thanksgiving and Christmas Luncheons due to COVID this year, we would like to offer our first City of Overland Senior Holiday Dinner Drive Thru Event on Wednesday December 16th, 2020 from 11:30 am- 1:00 pm. This event will feature a drive-thru pick up of a pre-packaged dinner prepared by As You Like It Catering at All Souls School, located at 2543 Hood Ave in Overland, MO. This event is exclusive to the first 150 ...Overland Senior Residents ages 55 years of age and older at no cost. Pre-Registration is required and can be done via phone by calling 314-780-8947 between the hours of 6 am 7 pm, Monday thru Friday. Guests will be required to remain in their vehicles at all times and the driver of each vehicle must wear a mask during the event. Event will take place rain or shine. There is a precautionary boil water advisory in effect for an area of St. Louis County after a 20-inch main break caused pressure in the water system to drop. ...This advisory is issued strictly as a precaution and includes the area with the following boundaries: South of Midland, West of Deihlman, North of Bonhomme and East of Spoede. Approximately 6600 cusotmers are affected. Customers in this area need to bring their water to a rolling boil for 3 minutes for drinking or cooking. Water is ok to use for bathing, washing, and other non-consumable uses. A call will be going out to customers signed up for emergency notification momentarily. It’s clean up time and the City of Overland is here to help its fellow residents with the Annual Fall Clean Up! This event is open to all Overland residents and an Overland identification will be required to par-take in this event.). The "Fall Clean Up" will begin on Saturday October 17th from 8 am - Noon at Legion Park (On West Milton, behind Legion Park). COVID-19 Requirements: Participants will be required to 1) provide contact information to City staff, upon entering the... park, in order to participate in the event, 2) Unload their own vehicles during the event. Volunteers are prohibited from assisting with the unloading process. Please plan accordingly. There is a limit of one (1) vehicle per family (sorry no box trucks allowed. Items that will be accepted are the following: Scrap Iron or Steel, Household Appliances, Furniture, Household Clutter, Brush and Tree Limbs. Electronic Recycling will be available onsite, for a cash fee. Any size TV or CRT Monitor: $25 per item. LCD Television Monitors: $10 per item. All other electronic items will be accepted free of charge. Some items that will NOT be accepted are the following: hazardous materials, paint, car parts, and garbage / litter items.
