D CO 787th Military Police Battalion

At the start of every cycle, trainees in the 14th MP BDE participate in what is known as the Hammer Drop. This event focuses on showcasing Military Police capabilities and providing motivation as they interact with vehicles, weapons, and equipment that they will use out in the force. They also participate in a motivational team building event that encompasses real life scenarios with decision making, team work, and leadership skills. Unfortunately, due to some unforeseen e...xtreme winter weather here in Missouri, the Defenders had to execute our Hammer Drop Operation in a slightly different fashion to ensure the health and welfare of both cadre and trainees. Our Defenders were still able to get some hands on time with equipment and weapons and learn a bit about Military Police history. Although the official start to training was delayed a few days, the Delta Defenders are in it now! This week the Defenders are focusing on developing their combat first aid skills, mastering the proper procedures for dining in the chow hall, and of course lots of team building through snow removal!
