Odessa Lake Adventures

We had a great time at the 7th annual Odessa Car Show! Shout-outs to the event organizers, sponsors, and city of Odessa for the opportunity to showcase R/C model trucks. Great to be able to introduce the hobby to so many new folks. All of us went home with pockets full of smiles, and good vibes for the day!... We were going to edit our "parade" cruises, but it seemed more fitting to catch everyone's positive reactions, smiles, and conversations. Plus you'll get to see allot of the cool rides, that were participating in the car show! Odessa's got a bunch of great folks, and we hope to see you out on the hiking trails soon! An amazing time was had, at the 2nd annual Odessa Lake Adventure! Four Expedition Teams, consisting of over 2 dozen drivers tackled the wet and muddy conditions, after days of heavy rain prior to the event. Attempting to circumnavigate the over 1/2 mile upper reservoir trail, connecting both dams thru the woods. We couldn't have asked for better weather, for the 2nd annual Odessa Lake Adventure. Light rain early morning, broke to mostly cloudy with patches of sunshine. Conditions were extra muddy, with a side of puddles. Starting the course a tik after 11am, Team Dinky was on course for right at 5 hrs. Attrition was high, with 7 trucks starting with our group, and only 3 of them making it to camp. Then on to finish the final leg of the trail, around 4pm. Amazing day, great folks, & good times!

We're in the final few days of trail prep, for the upcoming "Odessa Lake Adventure" on September 12th. Always something neat to see, when you slow down and enjoy nature.

Alright, come on guys... this is at least a dozen times we've picked up trash at the concrete spillway! You carried it in, so YOU carry it OUT! Worm boxes, fishing line, McDonald's trash, mountain dew 2 liter, etc. Be a caretaker to the land, ... Not a destroyer... See more

Odessa Lake .......I-70 East to Bates City exit S. on Z 3 miles to flashing light TT go East 5 miles, to lake entrance....

We trimmed up the main access on "Sure Foot" Trail today. Always good to stop and appreciate nature.

As of today, the "Green Rock" trail, and "Sure Foot" trail are officially connected by the new "Woodland" trail on the south side of the upper Reservoir! Making it just over 1/2 mile of hiking and model truck trails, for everyone to enjoy! Here's a quick clip of the midway point, where we'll be traversing a dry inlet to the upper reservoir. There'll be a scale campsite location right before you re-enter the woods for the 2nd half of the "Woodland" trail. Looking forward to...
