Staple food and monetary donations are being accepted for the Novinger Community Food Boxes. Donations can be brought to the Community Center on Monday, December 7th at 6:30 p.m. Suggestions of families in need or shut-ins within the school district are being accepted and will remain confidential. Please contact Sharon Barnes at 660-216-6840 to submit names or make arrangements to drop off donated items at other times. Checks can be mailed to Novinger Renewal, P.O. Box 24, Novinger, MO 63559 - please note "Christmas Food Boxes" in memo line. Funds gathered are used to purchase additional food items for inclusion in the boxes.

Looking for some Christmas gift ideas? Novinger Renewal News, a quarterly newsletter filled with area history, current events and photos, is available for $15 hardcopy or $10 by email. Reprints of the 2001 history book "Novinger (Adair County), Missouri: The People, the Town and the Surrounding Communities is also available. We have been notified the Pure Air Baptist Church has decided to cancel this year's Living Nativity due to increasing COVID concerns.

Novinger Renewal will meet Monday, October 26 at 6:30 p.m. in the Community Center. Everyone is welcome to attend. Among the discussion items will be plans for the Christmas Food Boxes Project. There will be social distancing and masks are welcome.
