Mark your calendars we are fellowshipping in the park again. Bring your lunch, games, and gather together for fun.

As a global church family, nearly everyone has been touched by COVID-19. Pray for those who are grieving the loss of friends and family members who have died as... a result of this pandemic. Pray for those who are recovering, that they may come to a place of complete healing. We also pray for those who are currently ill and are struggling to fight off this disease. We pray for God’s strength and power to heal their bodies. Pray for frontline workers who are growing increasingly tired and weary, that they may find rest and renewed energy to press on. Together, we pray that this virus will be stopped and the pandemic will come to an end. We know that the economic impact of this virus has hurt many around the world. We pray for those who need daily bread, money to pay rent, and simply want to go to work. Stir our hearts to be generous, helping those who have less than we do. Ask God to open your eyes for opportunities to help those who are struggling more than you are. See more

In the time of COVID-19, the persecuted church has slipped from many of the headlines. This does not mean that there has been a change in persecution. We need t...o join in prayer for our brothers and sisters in Christ who are facing challenges because of their faith in Jesus Christ. Pray for wisdom and courage in the face of those who seek to harm them. Pray for God’s protection over them as they seek to faithfully serve Jesus in difficult areas. We have missionaries who have continued to serve throughout this pandemic and who have faced unique difficulties and some very stringent quarantines. Pray for God’s grace and strength for each day and that new doors of opportunity will be opened for their ministry. See more

God’s people are to serve as peacemakers in the world. Jesus said, By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another (Joh...n 13:34). We need to pray for peace in the church. God’s people need to pray for any division within the church community to be healed. Then, the church must pray for peace in the world. Many nations of this world are facing challenges, and God’s people need to serve as instruments of peace. Our prayers must include actions, therefore, we should pray for our eyes to be opened to opportunities to show Christ’s love to others. Specifically, ask God to help you to show love to someone this week that may not necessarily love or like you. The Board of General Superintendents has called the global church to a week of prayer and fasting. Today we are praying for spiritual renewal and revival to come to the Church. Lord, hear our prayers.

Please join us each day this week as we focus on the need for spiritual renewal within the Church and for healing the great divides in our world. Monday Pray ...for spiritual renewal and revival to come to the Church. Tuesday Pray for peace and opportunities to show Christ’s love to others. Wednesday Pray for the persecuted church around the world and for our missionaries. Thursday Pray for those who are suffering as a result of the global pandemic. Friday Pray for unity among God’s people and for healing across the nations. Saturday Pray for those who have yet to come to faith in Jesus Christ. Sunday Pray for the Holy Spirit to fill us again so that we may be empowered to be Christlike in this world.
