Varsity girls basketball were defeated tonight by St. James. We had the steals and the rebounds, just couldn’t hit the basket consistently. St. James played a very tight one on one defense as the Shamrocks were taking possesion of the ball, and it stymied the girls trying to make it past half court. There were a few bright spots. Hannah Rethmeyer pulled down a lot of rebounds, and Mackenzie Wilson punched holes in St James’s defense.

Congrats to New Haven Girls Varsity Cross Country-District Champs and headed to state finals
Chef Augustine Gallardo collaborates with his mom, Maria Gallardo to create Catrinas for El Dia de los Muerto, the Mexican tradition for honoring deceased loved ones. The skull is part of an 8 foot tall catrina in the restaurant. They also have smaller ones for sale $15. Augustine has also designed new El Ranchito T-Shirts with a Mayan influence.
