Toys for Tots of Northeast Missouri

You already know that Toys for Tots of Northeast Missouri did a record number of chidlren this year. We thought you might be interested in how Toys for Tots did nationally. Nationally, Toys for Tots distributed 20.2 million toys to 7.3 million less fortunate children. What is so incredible is we distributed over 1.6 million more toys to over 40,000 more children than in 2019 even with the pandemic!

So our faithful volunteers can have Christmas time with their families, our 2020 Christmas Campaign is officially closed. We are thankful for the support of our local communities.

Distributing toys for Toys for Tots in Pike County, Missouri. 155 families being served.

So we could get all 5 distributions coordinated in a Covid-safer fashion, volunteers prepackaged Christmas for 625 families. These volunteers were inspiring as the carefully considered each child in their care. Thank you volunteers for embodying the spirit of Christmas.

I can't praise our volunteers enough. No one really knew what to expect with a preboxed, drive through distribution. It went smoothly. A special shout out to Aron Lee for this distribution master piece.

No, we do not use the self-checkout at Walmart. The employees were totally awesome in providing assistance. Thank you Hannibal Walmart for the grant, too!

Information for persons who will be collecting Christmas gifts from Toys for Tots of Northeast Missouri on this Thursday (12/17) at the Coontz Recreation Center. For the safety of our clients and volunteers from the COVID virus, all toy requests were prepackaged. We will be using a drive through method to receive toy donations and food boxes.... Volunteers need to park in the entrance behind Clemens Field off Warren Barrett drive. The gates will be open and there is an endless amount of parking. We have made an entrance for them to walk to their location through the PED entrance. This keeps volunteers from having to park in the middle of the havoc. Please only come at your appointment time. If you come too early, we reserve the right to ask you to come back at your appointment time. Please bring your appointment postcard or photo identification. If someone is collecting your items for you, bring a note indicating permission Please be patient. We’ve never done it this way before either. Please be kind to the volunteers. They are working outside and carrying items because they care about your family. Please be kind to each other. We don’t really know the struggles of another person. Thank you for being a part of Toys for Tots this Christmas.
