The part-time Administrative Assistant provides the first impression of Centenary United Methodist Church when members, prospects or visitors enter or call our church office. The Administrative Assistant is responsible for maintaining an orderly, efficient work facility that is comfortable for staff, visitors, volunteers, and that is conducive for the smooth flow of information. Skills and abilities should include: A gracious, Christ-like demeanor. Extremely strong int...erpersonal skills. Excellent telephone and email demeanor. Strong organizational abilities and excellent attention to details. Strong computer skills and proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Self-motivated and ability to take initiative while demonstrating a positive attitude. Ability to be flexible in an environment that is subject to spur of the moment changes. Solid time management skills and ability to coordinate several activities at once. Hours are Monday-Thursday 9:00am to 3:00pm (paid hourly) Hourly rate commensurate with experience.
