Sophia is a Fulbright Scholar from Guatemala and has concentrated her studies and work on irregular migration, particularly how it affects people in her home country. Truman School Associate Professor Dr. Mary Stegmaier is in Kyrgyzstan to observe the upcoming Presidential elections through the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe.
