ATTENTION If anyone brought us a whole deer and had steaks and burger made it is done!! We are cutting the last deer from rifle season today!! We are open during the week 7-4 and on Saturdays we are here 7-11.

We will be closed tomorrow, will be open Friday 8-12, Saturday 7-11 and we will be closed on Sunday!! We want to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving!!

We will be open Saturday from 9-2:30 and then after dark till 8 and Sunday we will be open from 9:30-2:30 and then after dark till 8. We know this is a busy time for us but we enjoy the time to get out and hunt too!! Good Luck to all the hunters this weekend!!

We apologize for any inconveniences this weekend but we will NOT be taking whole deer during youth season. We are too busy with beef and hogs and they can not touch in the cooler. We will however take your boned out deer meat.

Ameren is coming in around 2:30 today to try an fix an electrical issue. With this they are shutting down all of the power. This could take up to an hour or longer. Since we will not have power we will not have phones or be able to run a credit card. However, we will be OPEN during this time.

If you or anyone you know has some left over deer meat and don’t know what to do with it we are going to be making a batch of bologna next Friday (9/25). If you would like some made please drop it off before Wednesday (9/23) so we know how much pork we need to take out.

Due to being booked full with beef and hogs we will not be taking whole deer until rifle season. However, deer that are killed during bow season and youth season we will take the boned out deer meat and your sausage will be made first.

We are hiring help for the processing room and/or butchering room. Experience is always a plus - but not required. If you’re willing to learn we’ll teach you the rest. Monday-Friday 7am-4pm hours may vary. Being on time and showing up everyday you’re scheduled to work is critical. Starting pay minimum $12 per hour. Health insurance is possible. A much needed upgrade!!

If anyone had Naturally Aged Deer Sausage made it is ALL done!! We finished packaging 6,000 lbs of it on Tuesday. So if you have not received a phone call it IS done and you can pick it up. We are open 7-4 during the week and 7-11 on Saturdays. We would appreciate it if you could be it up soon so we can make more freezer space!!
