Hey everyone. We have been meaning to post this for a while. On our last day at Életforrás Gyülekezet - Lifespring Church - also the day Marta and I handed the pastorship over to a new couple - They showed this slideshow during the fellowship meal afterwards. While not an exhaustive documentary of all of our work while we were in Hungary - it is a pretty amazing reminder of all that we were able to accomplish while there. Be on the lookout for an update video soon from Mar...ta and I with some information on what is next for us and our family. A big thanks to all who have supported our work through the years - and those that continue to support our work. Without you guys - none of this would have been possible. Also a big thanks to all of those who worked with us through the years. We are grateful for your standing with us and laboring alongside us. Last Sunday we had the privilege of having a special YWAM DTS team made up of 8 Chinese and 1 Taiwanese students. They were the first entirely Chinese/Taiwanese team to do a DTS just for them. It was a great experience having them share testimonies about what they have learned from their time in the DTS. It was especially encouraging to hear them talk about how they have learned more about their identity and value. After the testimonies they led a worship song in Chinese.... At the end of the service we gathered around them as a congregation and prayed over them. Then we reversed roles and had the Chinese/Taiwanese visitors pray over those who wanted to be prayed for. These believers carry something in their walk with God that is not as common in the western church. They have such a deep dedication to their faith. I strongly believe that a BIG part of the Kingdom of God being manifested in the earth will be a direct result of the believers of that region being thrust out into a missions movement that will rival any previous missions movement. So we wanted the church to not only give, but to receive from what they carried. It was an especially encouraging Sunday. There were 48 people in attendance (counting the ten coming from the DTS team). I think it was the fullest we have seen the sanctuary since we have moved in. Thank you all who came out to visit us and support the team that came.
