Coming on March 27, 2021, WinterStorm2021@Home is a video about the people and the music of one of the greatest annual events on the piping and drumming social calendar. Held every January in Kansas City, Missouri, USA, since its inauguration in 2002, Winter Storm has evolved into a world class four day event of piping and drumming contests, and master classes; culminating in a unique Saturday evening concert where the world's best perform together on the same stage. The likes of Fred Morrison, Williie McCallum, Steven Creighton and Steven McWhirter are perennial entertainers and faculty, with a cast of some 20 or more others. This is their story - a glimpse of the people, the music, the volunteers, the sponsors - all part of the Winter Storm family... enjoy this trailer.

During our 2020 Concert, Roddy S. MacDonald played a tune that he and the Red Hot Chilli Pipers composed titled, The Fallen. This tune is a highly emotive piece of music.. to show how much firefighters mean to us all, something that not only says thank you but is also a lasting and fitting tribute to all firefighters worldwide. He wanted to ensure that our Workshop and Concert attendees had access to the tune, as seen. If you wish to purchase this track, ALL proceeds will be donated to two fire service charities The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service Family Support Trust and The FDNY Emerald Society Pipes and Drums.

Capturing those last few steps between final tune and the competition platform when everything is calm and peaceful.
