Her granddaughter and journalist with 40/29 News -- Fort Smith & Fayetteville, Arkansas, Lydia Fielder, interviewed her about coming out of retirement to honor her promise to serve others.

A anonymous Kirkwood couple reached out to Amighetti's to provide 200 meals to #MercySTL co-workers fighting COVID-19. The only recognition the donors wanted was to highlight ways to support local restaurants while also supporting those health care workers in the hospitals. "It’s been tough for both groups and by donating the meals it supports our local restaurants and helps our caregivers know they’re appreciated, the couple said.
