Monday - Friday: 8AM-5PM, Lunch 11AM-12PM Education: Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. We are looking for someone who has a true love for our four-legged guests and will put their well-being, and happiness first, also show deep appreciation and respect for their families. ... The first and last contact customers have with the facility and key to creating first and lasting impressions. Responsible for communicating and educating clients on the services we offer. Responsible for ensuring standards of cleanliness and organization are maintained in the reception area and other areas of the facility as needed. Coordinate with other employees, clients, and the owner through effective and efficient communications. Job Responsibilities Client Relations Duties: Greet clients and pets by name. Answer office phone and company cellphone promptly and professionally using a multi-line phone system. Screen and route calls to appropriate staff. Educate phone inquiries with a description of services. Check client records for accurate client information, paperwork, and appropriate vaccination records. Schedule grooming, boarding, daycare, training, and MPC Mobile appointments/reservations. Answer client questions about services and products and provide knowledgeable advice. Prepare forms for upcoming appointments/reservations; check-in clients who are dropping off or picking up their pets for services; documenting client instructions, medications applications, and dropped off items. Responding to general client emails, Social Media Messages, text messages, and comments. Administrative Duties: Update pet records and reminders. Prepare and update forms such as new client registration, boarding, daycare, grooming, training, Mobile agreements and drop off forms. Photographing and updating profile pictures of guests. Scheduling future grooming appointments at check out with recommended time between groomings. Maintain and organize appointments for each service. Reserving spaces, and daily placement for the pets in our care. Retrieve, update and maintain pet medical records for Animal Hospitals and Clients. Maintaining a sanitary and organized environment in public areas (reception, bathroom, etc.) Clean up pet's accidents in the reception area, exterior sidewalks, and parking lot. Purge and organize files according to policies. Check the mailbox daily. Financial Duties: Enter accurate charges, refunds, and information. Explain invoices and Collect payments, including making changes for cash payments, processing credit cards, checks, etc. Daily deposits, transactions, box checks, and keeping the petty cash organized. Client Education & Marketing Duties: Promote services such as boarding, grooming, daycare, dog training Have a thorough knowledge of parasite control and our requirements for vaccinations and pet care.

Daycare & Boarding Responsibilities: - Willingness to Learn and Understand K9 & Feline Body Language - Care to the best of your ability for all pets at Medlin Pet Company. - Feed, Water, Give Medication, Walk and Give lots of love to dogs that are 5 pounds AND 120 pounds! Not at the same time, of course. - Document anything and everything! You must be detail-oriented. - Sweep, Vacuum, Scrub, Squeegee, Mop, and everything in between! All areas must be clean and sanitized at all times. Although, this job is a lot of interacting and caring for pets and their people, a huge portion of it is keeping their areas as clean and comfortable as possible. - Check-In Boarding & Daycare Dogs/Cats, Communicate Behaviors with Clients and use Computer Software. - Occasionally bathe pets. Please read below before applying. Typical Hours Consist of: 2-4 days during the week: Monday-Friday 3 PM - 7ish (depending on the day can be as late as 8:30 PM) 1-2 Weekends (Sat. & Sun.) monthly.
