Retta Jean Cox, daughter of the late Marvin Murray Sr. and Lula (Hogan) Murray, was born in Neelyville, Missouri, on October 13, 1938. She departed this life at Parkland Health Care in Farmington, Missouri, on November 9, 2020, at the age of 82. On November 2, 1956, in Mississippi, Retta was united in marriage to Richard K. Cox and to this union two daughters were born. Retta was of the Protestant faith. She resided in Arnold, Missouri for over 50 years and Redford, Missouri,... for her remaining years. Retta loved to garden and dig in the dirt. She also loved to shop at the Dollar Store and having lunch out with her lady friends. Retta was an avid reader and wonderful cook. She enjoyed traveling with her sisters, she loved the colors of fall and that was her favorite time to travel through the woods. Retta’s greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Retta was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one brother, James Murray, one sister, Mary Roney, three sister-in-laws, Betty Murray, Anne Murray, Lana Murray, two brother-in-laws, Wes Kazzee, Jerry Jones, and one son-in-law, Vic Buckner. Retta is survived by two daughters, Debby Linck and husband Dennis of Pahrump, Nevada, and Sandy Buckner of Redford, Missouri, five brothers, Leroy Murray and wife June of Harviell, Missouri, Don Murray and wife Naomi of Springfield, Missouri, Marvin Murray Jr. of Gilbert, Arizona, Ron Murray and wife Diane of St. Charles, Missouri, and Aubrey Murray of St. Charles, Missouri, one sister, Etta Kazzee of St. Peters, Missouri, two granddaughters, Amy Suleski and husband Ben of Pahrump, Nevada, and Kelly Linck of Ridgecrest, California, and two great-grandchildren, Jamilyn and Josh. Retta was a strong woman with a kind soul. She will be missed by her family, a host of friends and neighbors. We rejoice that she is in Heaven with those she loved and awaited her with loving arms. David Alan Lester, son of Graham and Violet (Crocker) Lester, was born in St. Louis, Missouri, on November 15, 1959. He departed this life at his residence in Lesterville, Missouri surrounded by his family and close friends on November 7, 2020, at the age of 60. On December 10, 2005 in Park Hills Missouri, David was united in marriage to the love of his life, Ellen Woodcock. David is a charter member of Fellowship Baptist Church of Lesterville, and a member of the Black River... Jeep Club. David enjoyed the Black River, music, floating, gigging season, bow hunting, deer season, and turkey season. Most of his time spent hunting was with his dad, Grant Chitwood, and Daryl Black. Truck driving and Budweiser were David’s true passions throughout his life. David is survived by his parents, Graham and Violet Lester of Lesterville. One daughter, Tiffany Huggins and husband Andy of Farmington, one step daughter, Amanda Reagan and husband Brad of Fredericktown, one stepson, Justin Bennett and wife Lyndsey of Farmington, two sisters Cindy Chitwood and husband Steve of Farmington, Paula AuBuchon and husband Mike of Bismarck, nieces, Marti Francis of Farmington, Courtney Brockes (Nick Becker) of Farmington, Alicia Bouse and husband Denny of Park Hills, nephew, Abraham and wife Jami of Farmington, 6 grandchildren, Evan, Jada, Josie, Jordyn, Jessica, and Walker. David also had many great nieces, nephews, and two great great nieces. David loved, nurtured, and mentored Grant Austin Chitwood as though he was his own son. David touched the lives of many and truly will be missed by all. Oscar Farrell Stacy, son of the late Addison J. Stacy and Mary Juanita Guinn, was born in Fredericktown, Missouri, on October 5, 1943. He departed this life at Kindred Hospital in South St. Louis, Missouri, on November 5, 2020, at the age of 77. On December 26, 1964, Oscar was united in marriage to Audrey May and to this union five children were born. Audrey preceded him in death on June 8, 1999. Oscar was a Veteran in the United States Air Force. He served in the Vietnam War.... Oscar attended the Greeley Baptist Church in Bunker, Missouri. He was also a member of the VFW, Moolah Shrine, Masonic Lodge and the Missouri Trappers Association. Oscar enjoyed hunting and fishing, woodworking, trapping and tanning hides, and quilting. Oscar was preceded in death by his parents, Addison and Mary Juanita Stacy, his wife, Audrey Stacy, one brother, Addison G. Stacy, and one sister, Carol Westrup. Oscar is survived by two sons, John F. Stacy and wife Lois of Salem, Missouri, and Michael W. Stacy and wife Jodi of Bunker, Missouri, three daughters, Angie Simerda and husband Frank of O’Fallon, Missouri, Sandy South and husband Jeff of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, and Mary Stacy-Brewer and husband Wesley of St. Charles, Missouri, one sister, Vivian Miller and husband Robert of Jackson, Missouri, 11 grandchildren, Justin Simerda, Andrew Simerda, Adrain John AJ Stacy, Jacob Stacy, Sarah Krull, Caleb South, Kristen Stacy, Jackie Stacy, Mataya Chronister, Montana Stacy and Kateri Lewis, and 7 great-grandchildren, Landon Williams, Audrey Stacy, Isabelle Stacy, Athena Stacy, August Krull, Colten Chronister and Cooper Lewis. Oscar will be deeply missed by a host of relatives and many friends who will mourn his passing.
