At Mark Twain Hobby Center, we strive towards providing the best shopping experience while protecting our employees and customers. We have done this by cleaning regularly and following county recommendations and guidelines, but also respecting the individual decisions of customers to decide for themselves to wear a mask or not. Now that we are seeing cases spike again within our community and surrounding communities as well as updated advice from the CDC, we will be adoptin...g a required mask/face covering policy while shopping in store. Going into effect on November 18th, we will require that customers wear a mask/face covering while they shop in our store. We will also provide hand sanitizer at the entrance and exit so that customers can protect themselves even further if they cannot wash their hands. If a customer forgets to bring a mask, we will provide a complimentary paper mask for the customer to use while shopping. We do understand that there will be individuals that cannot wear a mask due to different exceptions. We will be following the CDC recommendations and will not ask any child under the age of 2 to wear a mask. We also know that there are customers that have breathing issues that prevent them from wearing a mask and will not require them to do so. Just let us know when you arrive so that we can accommodate and ensure that you have a great shopping experience. We do understand and respect that there are differing opinions on this topic. We also recognize how we can help protect everyone's health and the health of the community by following the CDC guidelines. We do appreciate you as our customers and appreciate your cooperation and understanding as we help to provide further protections for everyone involved. We will continue to offer free in store pickup and curbside pickup for any customer that wishes to shop online rather than coming in to shop. Orders are generally ready for pickup within 2 hours after placing online. We will notify you with a phone call or email once the order is ready to pickup.
