The Marceline Municipal Pool will be closed today April 24th due to Marceline High School 2021 Prom! We hope everyone can help us support our Tigers tonight at the Grand March!

The Marceline Municipal Pool will be closing for the remainder of the day, April 7th, due to inclement weather and a posted thunder storm warning for the rest of this afternoon. We hope everyone stays safe and we hope for better weather tomorrow!

We are excited to announce that we are finally going to be offering a Public Swim Lesson Class again here at the pool! We ask that if you would like to be apart of this class you will need to come in and fill out the registration form sometime prior to our first day, April 19th, and they will be $40 per child. We can’t wait to have a great class this spring! Everyone have a great weekend!

Hello everyone, we hope you all are having a great Spring so far. We have loved seeing you all out and about here at the pool! We want to make a few closure announcements for the remainder of this week. -Tomorrow Friday April 2nd we will be closed for the Morning Lap Swim at 6am-7am but we will be back open for the Aquatic Exercise and Lap Swim times. -Sunday April 4th we will be closed all day for Easter Sunday.... We hope everyone have a blessed and safe Easter and we’ll hope to see you on Saturday for your weekend swimming adventures!

Hello everyone, it’s finally Friday and we have some announcements for you! -At this time we are completely booked through April in Pool Rentals! You read right, we are booked completely solid, and it has been great to be able to host all your birthdays and events here at the pool the past few months and in the months to come! -The Dome Removal is right around the corner and the last pool bookings available are: May 1st 10-12 & 5-7; May 2nd 5-7 May 8th 5-7 May 9th 5-7 May 15...th 10-12 -That’s right only 6 more rentals until the Summer Season! Also with that being said Saturday May 15th from 1pm-5pm will be our last day open under the Dome, so mark your calendar’s! -We also want to remind everyone of our Lap Swim times and our Aquatic Exercise Classes as well! Hello everyone, it has been a great couple of weeks with the heater running as intended and getting to see all of you enjoying our wonderful swimming facility right here in Marceline! We are still open and running even in these times of uncertainty and want to remind the public that if you are not feeling well or show any COVID-19 like symptoms please reframe from attending the pool during those times! Also we want to Congratulate our Marceline High School Tiger Football Team... on advancing to the Quarterfinals by winning the District Championship Title! That game will be hosted by the Marceline Tigers here in Marceline this Saturday and with that event we will be closing our Lap Swim and Open Swim times on Saturday November 21st to support our Tigers! Hello everyone! We have great news, we were able to get the pool heater fixed and it has returned back to normal operating temperature in our pool! We will be opening back up tonight for our Aquatic Exercise class at 5pm and our lap swim at 6 pm! We hope to see you all out at the pool tonight!

Hello everyone, we hope everyone is enjoying this snowy October morning and staying warm and safe! We wanted to give a quick update on the pool status! We originally were hoping by last Friday we would have the extra parts we needed to get the heater running but unfortunately they are not going to come in till this coming Wednesday. We are hoping to be operating sometime this week before the weekend. When we are back up and going we will make the announcement right here on our Facebook page. Thank you for all your messages and concerns about our pool status that we have been receiving, we hope to be up and running and seeing all of you very soon!

We hope everyone is having a great Thursday so far and your ready for the big Marceline Lady Tigers next District Softball game tonight! We have unfortunate news about the heater at this time, we have fixed our original problem and have seemed to run into another error on the machine. This means that at this time we are closing down for what could be a week or more depending on how the trouble shooting goes with our machine. The pool temperature today is 78F and we have the part we need for the water heater coming in tomorrow, Thursday Oct. 15th, and if all goes well, we will be heated back up to normal temperatures by Friday! Thank you all for your understanding at this time! See you soon!

Good Morning everybody, we are hoping for a Happy Monday for you all! Unfortunately at this time we are having trouble with our water heater and are working on solutions now to get that corrected! We will be posting water temperature updates on our Open Swim days to let you know how warm the water will be until we get this issue resolved! Today it is 80 F, we appreciate your understanding during this time! As a reference point we keep the water at 86 F during normal operating times.

The pool is just about ready for our reopening tomorrow September 26th! We are so excited to be back up and going serving Marceline and surrounding areas! We want to still encourage patrons to bring their own chairs as we will still not be providing chairs due to Covid-19 concerns. We look forward to seeing all of you at the pool this Winter Season! Aquatic Exercise will be starting Monday September 28th!

We are getting the dome laid out and zipped up! The next step is to turn on the fans to inflate and get things ready for reopening on the 26th! A HUGE thanks goes to Moore Fans for the heavy lifting assist!

The Marceline Municipal Pool will be closing for the 11am Aquatic Class and Noon Lap Swim due to inclement weather and cool temperatures, today August 31st. We are hoping to be back open for our 4pm-6pm Open Swim and 6pm Aquatic Class! Please watch this Facebook page for further updates!

Hello everyone! As we all know school is starting next week and we want to share our Back to School Hours before we put on the Dome! As our flyer states, our last day open will be Labor Day September 7th and will be the end of this schedule!

Happy Monday everyone! We want to send a quick reminder to the individuals interested in the YMCA Lifeguard Class in Chillicothe, that this is the last day to call over there and sign up! Please do so soon!!

We are looking to hire Lifeguards for our Winter Team and need your help to get the word out! We are looking for anyone who is a responsible and reliable individual who has the ability to get their Lifeguard Certificate or has it already! We have a class set up with the YMCA at Chillicothe that will be going on at the end of August to help those that want to get certified have that opportunity and would then be qualified to work here at the Marceline Municipal Pool! We are lo...oking for guards that can work throughout the week during the evening and weekend days and here at the pool we offer flexible scheduling for our Lifeguards! You must be atleast 16 years old or older to work at our facility, and if you have any questions please call the Pool and ask for Gary Birdsong (Pool Manager) at 660-376-9014.
