Chaffee police department posted this: We are asking that any citizens in our community who have medical equipment in their home that requires electricity, to please contact us at 573-887-6911. We will keep a list so we have it available in case a power outage was to occur. We will open up the Nutrition Center as a warming center if the need arises. If any of our churches in town has a generator and would be able to open up as a warming center, please contact our department ...to get a plan in place. Be advised that the area of South Third Street and Gray is closed at this time. Once this weather system arrives in our area, please stay home if you do not have to be out.
