Be prepared, Blankets, gloves, snacks, and a charged cell phone are great items to have available if you get stranded. 5. Remember, if you see flashing lights PLEASE PLEASE, approach with caution. Tow trucks law enforcement, Fire, and EMS will be out helping those in need. They have families too! Everyone Stay Warm and STAY SAFE!

On January 31st 2020 at 20:21 Hours Macon County Rescue was dispatched to a 2 vehicle MVA at Hwy 36 just south of Hwy K. Upon arriving on scene we were notified of 3 patients, two of which had to be extricated from a vehicle. Our training and equipment allowed us to extricate 2 patients simultaneously from both sides of the vehicle. We responded with 2 trucks and 5 personnel. Macon EMS responded with 2 trucks and played a major role in helping extricate the patients and transported them for care. Macon Rural fire, Macon Co Sherriff, MO Highway Patrol, Gabrielsons and Still Towing were all on scene to assist in this incident. We would like to say a big thank you to all agencies involved as teamwork once again Prevailed.

Around 11AM December 4th 2019 we were dispatched to a 2 vehicle accident South of Macon on Hwy 63 North. One vehicle involved, struck a MODOT truck from the rear. Extraction tools were used to remove a patient from the vehicle. ... We responded with 1 truck and 4 personnel We were assisted by Macon Rural Fire, Mo Hwy Patrol Macon County Ambulance x2 and MODOT. Extra thanks to MODOT for traffic control during this event! Great Job to all agencies involved! Working together saves lives.

On September 23 at approximately 11:28 we were dispatched to a 1 vehicle rollover accident East of Hwy K on Hwy 36. During this incident another accident happened at the same location, involving 2 more vehicles with one rear ending the other. This should serve as a reminder to always pay attention. Dont drive distracted. We responded with 1 truck and 4 personnel. Other agencies involved were Macon Rural Fire, Macon EMS, Macon County Sheriff, Missouri State Highway Patrol,... and Still Towing. At approximately 15:36 on May 31st 2019 Macon County Rescue was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident at Hwy 63 and Hwy T intersection in Excello. We responded with 2 trucks 5 personnel and were assisted by Macon Rural Fire, MSHP, Macon County Sherriff, and Still Towing. SEATBELTS and airbags saved the day today! Remember BUCKLE UP! ACCIDENTS HAPPEN!
On February 2nd at 15:06, Macon County Rescue was dispatched to a 3 vehicle MVA at the Intersection of Missouri and Patton streets in Macon. We responded with 1 truck and 5 personnel. We assisted in removing a patient from one of the vehicles. We were on scene with Macon Fire Department, Macon County EMS, and the Macon Police Dept. We are blessed to have such great agencies in this area providing quick response to emergency situations.
On February 2 2019, Macon County Rescue was dispatched at 7:45 AM to a 2 vehicle MVA on Hwy 36 and Nickel ave. We responded with 2 trucks and 6 personnel. One vehicle was on its top and the other slid off the road. We departed the scene at 9:04 AM. Reminder to everyone, cold weather early in the day can cause slick driving conditions and black ice. Always drive with caution in the winter months.
