July 12, 2009 - seven years after first beginning to explore missionary service with Lutheran Bible Translators and two years after leaving my beloved congregation Emmanuel Lutheran Church for pre-field training and support raising, my family and I were commissioned at Trinity Lutheran Church, St. Joseph for service to Botswana.
