Infuze Credit Union

This year, Infuze CU is putting a spotlight on different members of our team and inviting them to share their friendly financial advice and fun facts about themselves! Today’s Employee Spotlight is all about Sami Charbonier! Sami has worked for the credit union since September of 2018! She is currently our Quality Assurance Coordinator and Sami’s position is an integral part of the credit union. Quality Assurance consists of reviewing documents for accuracy. She makes sure ...all member transactions remain in compliance in accordance with NCUA guidelines and regulations. This ensures the credit union runs smoothly for our members. When asked what her favorite part of the job is, she responded, I love what I do, and though my job is repetitive, I am constantly learning new things! Sami works at the Fort Leonard Wood branch, in the back office. She said, I love my branch! As a military spouse living on Fort Leonard Wood, the commute to work every day is short. That is definitely a perk. When Sami isn’t at work, she loves to spend time with her family. When she has a little me time, she loves reading a good book. When Sami was growing up, she wanted to be a meteorologist or storm chaser! She’s always been fascinated with tornadoes and hurricanes. A fun fact about Sami you might not know, she can make a spam musubi so delicious you will think you’re in Hawaii! When asked what her favorite insight for Infuze members is, she responded with, I would recommend Debt Protection with every loan. You never know what the future holds, and this product is great for those ‘just in case’ moments. Sami’s friendly financial advice she wants all our members to know is, Makes sure you only have one to two credit cards at the most. One for emergencies and one for everyday use like for bills, gas, and groceries. Only put balances on that card that you can pay off easily. This will help your credit score and open the door to better rates on loans and car insurance.

This Veterans Day, we are honoring, remembering, and thanking veterans for their service to our country. We encourage you to take the time to do the same. As a reminder, all Infuze Credit Union branches, PTM’s and Member Support Center will be closed today, in observance of Veterans Day. We will re-open on Tuesday, November 12th during normal business hours.

The United States Marine Corps turns 245 years old today! Join us in wishing them a very happy birthday for their bravery and dedication to keeping our nation safe.

Check out the beautiful artwork Infuze Credit Union purchased for the Rolla branch! The artist is Miss Ezra Hower. She is selling her artwork to raise money for The Rolla Mission, which is a local charity organization in Rolla that supports those in need. We’re honored to be able to purchase these two colorful pieces from Ezra. At Infuze CU, we believe that we are people helping people and love to support those that lend a helping hand.

Infuze Credit Union will be closed on Wednesday, November 11th in observance of Veterans Day. We will reopen on Thursday, November 12th during our normal business hours.
