: Caleb Mccommon ? I'm from Lee’s Summit, Missouri.... ? I enjoy playing disc golf and building legos Missouri National Guard? I joined the guard because I figured being a medic would buff up my resume and be good training before I go to paramedic training. ? I am a 68W Combat Medic. ? I am currently working on getting my paramedic certification. ?Getting to be around other medics during drill weekends is huge. A lot of them are firefighter/EMTs or paramedics which is exactly what I’m doing so getting to work with them and learn from them is awesome. ? In AIT I was 1 of twelve honor graduates and I was selected to help tutor other students. ? I would say figure out where you want to end up and do what you need to do to reach that goal. If joining is going to help you reach that goal then go for it. They have lots of opportunities for training and learning cool, new skills.
