During this time that we are running our Donation Drive for Stray Rescue, we wanted to share a personal story from one of our staff members: "My best friend, Paxton, came from Stray Rescue. He was feral, had a severe case of heartworms, and was generally terrified of everything. Paxton was on the... streets for at least 10 years (according to locals) and would hide out in abandoned houses. Stray Rescue spent months meeting with us, introducing our other dog to him, helping train us to be with him, etc. Not to mention covering the incredible cost of treating his heartworms." This story, like many others, is exactly why we chose to support Stray Rescue of St. Louis for this month's drive. Did you know that April is #NationalPetMonth?! We want to kick off National Pet Month at this pet friendly community by showing off our resident pets each month from now on! Residents, if you would like your pet to be featured as a Pet of the Month in the future, please submit an email with their name, a picture and a bio about them to our email: [email protected] (make sure to put Pet of the Month Submission in the subject line) and we will randomly select the following month's pet from our submissions to be featured on our social media pages and on site.
