Paper from our lab published online today! This is based on an independent project started by a former undergraduate student in my lab. The study reveals novel relationships between self-leadership, psychological symptoms, and measures of self-related thought. The findings suggest that enhancing self-leadership may be beneficial for mental health. https://doi.org/10.24839/2325-7342.JN25.2.142

We are accepting applications for travel awards to cover travel expenses for STEM-related conferences (either a conference focused on advancing women in STEM or... a discipline-specific STEM conference). Applicants must be the first author on a poster or presentation presented at the conference. Undergraduate students, graduate students, faculty and community members are all eligible for funding, but applicants must be members of Graduate Women in Science. Visit https://www.gwis.org/page/how_to_join and select Chapter: Saint Louis in the membership application to join. Applications will be accepted for expenses paid between December 15, 2019 and June 20, 2020. Up to $1000 will be awarded to cover transportation, lodging, food, registration fees or other conference expenses not covered by other funding. The application deadline is February 29, 2020. Complete and submit this form to apply: https://docs.google.com//1FAIpQLScZFU_7fs-3VxSDvn/viewform
