Thank you to all who attended today's annual associational meeting. Your input in today's discussions made for a very productive meeting. For members unable to attend today, no changes were made to associational bylaws, or rules and regulations. Stay tuned to the association's Facebook page for upcoming announcements regarding decisions made during the associational and board of directors meetings.
2020 Association Meeting is next Saturday, February 22nd, at 2:00 pm, in the classroom area of Little Flock Baptist Church. The meeting is open to the public. Association members are encouraged to attend to achieve the required quorum (7 members).
I took these photos last fall early in the morning when I was at the cemetery. The air was crisp and clear, and it was so incredibly peaceful.
Just a reminder that flowers on the ground at gravesites should be picked up soon. After mid-July, any flowers on the ground may be disposed of by those who mow the cemetery if they make it difficult for them to complete their mowing task. Flowers on headstones or in vases will not be removed. Thank you.
At today's annual meeting of the board of directors, a motion was approved to chat the entire cemetery driveway. The project will cost nearly $1,000. Donations have been received to assist with nearly half the project; however, anyone else who would like to donate towards the remaining project cost, may mail payment to Post Office Box 198, Vienna, MO 65582, and note "Chat Project 2019". The board also approved a new form required to be submitted to the board of directors w...hen any current member sells or gives a plot they currently have in the cemetery to someone. The easy-to-complete transfer form may be obtained from associational secretary, Brenda Davis, or associational treasurer, Craig Crum. On behalf of the board of directors, Dennis Cahill, Craig Crum, Linda Smith, Joe Crum and Anna Thompson, thank you to those who were able to attend today's meeting, and to those who assist with providing a beautiful final resting place for those interred at Little Flock Cemetery.
