This morning LifeLine Foods was fortunate enough to provide onsite COVID-19 vaccinations for all interested campus employees. We'd like to extend a big shout out to both the Andrew County Health Department and the National Guard for making this possible!
Organized by the Oldways Whole Grains Council, today we celebrate the health initiative that highlights the many benefits of consuming Whole Grains. In 2019, we launched a Specialty Mill to offer traceable products to meet a growing consumer demand. The mill produces a variety of specialized products such as Organic, Certified Whole Grain, and Non-GMO Verified corn ingredients #SampleWholeGrains.
On National Ag Day, we recognize our 600+ family farmers who serve people across the United States by providing food for our tables. After the challenges we faced in 2020, we are reminded how essential our farmers are. We recognize the many men and women working behind the scenes and under the radar to make sure we have a safe, consistent supply of food on grocery store shelves and on our kitchen tables. So, to all of America’s farmers, we offer our thanks today.
Our St. Joseph, MO corn milling facility recently opened a brand new, state-of-the-art $12 million dollar facility to continue expanding our production capabilities. We are prepared, now more than ever, to meet your Non-GMO corn ingredient needs and more.
We recently launched a 'Department of the Month' program to recognize branches of LifeLine that are exceeding expectations. A round of applause to Masa for claiming the title of 'Department of the Month' for their outstanding performance this month!
Here at LifeLine, quality matters. Each of our products meet different quality standards depending on the make up, including Certified Whole Grain, Kosher Pareve, Non-GMO Project Verified, and certified USDA Organic. Take a look at our product information on the website for more information on our products and their quality highlights.
Recently, our Lead Sanitation Tech, Denise Roberts, was featured on Season One of Road to the Plate. This three-episode series unpacks the world of the food supply chain and find out who plays a role in keeping America fed. During today’s day-and-age, have the comfort of knowing your food’s origin is the cleanest it can possibly be and get behind-the-scenes footage of how corn becomes a usable food product by watching the spot below.
This year, many of our customers received a customized LifeLine Foods calendar. Over the next 12 months, we're pleased to share each month's design with you! As we go, you'll notice each spread has a fun fact attached to help you learn more about us.
We're proud to invest in efforts that keep our manufacturing efforts green! Did you know that our 600+ farmer-owners participate in globally recognized, sustainable agriculture practices?
