Not-for-Profits Seek a Building Donation Several area like-minded Not-for-Profits are seeking a building donation with approximately 25K+ sq ft, consisting mainly of showroom/classroom/office and warehouse space that will bring together several not-for-profit groups who wish to align their individual services and expand their outreach capabilities to better serve the St. Louis metropolitan community. One organization, Leftovers, etc., has been ...operational since 1989 and provides creative learning material which impacts between 250-300,000 school children yearly in the metropolitan area and surrounding MO and IL counties. Their extensive outreach program provides activities for children/adults of all ages, developmentally disabled children/adults (in cooperation with the Pujols Family Foundation), senior citizens, and area Veterans and their families. Other organizations that have expressed an interest in participating in this endeavor include: The Kaufman Fund which supports St Louis area Veterans and children who are at risk of abuse or poverty, needing food, shelter, clothing, medical care, and basic needs. Two other not-for-profit groups who also work with St. Louis area Veterans who are suffering from PTSD by providing support services through art and education. Another organization works with metropolitan area youth who are in recovery from addiction by providing an outlet to continue sobriety through art. All organizations are well-established and have been serving the metropolitan area for many years. I'm not sure if everyone can see this. But this just came up on my feed. It is a "cat tree" that is made out of wooden spools and artificial greenery. I'm going to make myself one of these for my four cats. We have about 40 of these spools at Leftovers. WHAT AN AWESOME IDEA!!!

A PLEA FOR HELP!!! We are in need of a ton of volunteers to handle a number of "very important" jobs at Leftovers. I'm not asking for tons and tons of anyone's time. I'm asking for a bunch of people to commit to 2-4 hours per week on a regular basis.
