Homecoming Update and Info September 30, 2020 For the health and safety of all those involved and to remain in compliance with St. Louis County guidelines, our traditional Homecoming has been postponed. Our hope is to have a dance, a parade, and other festivities in the winter or spring if/when we are able to do so. We will continue to monitor current St. Louis County health guidelines to determine the best time to reschedule the event(s).... Though a traditional Homecoming has been postponed, we still want to recognize fall athletes and performers with a spirit week from October 6-9. The theme of the week is "Millennium Mayhem". Here is what Student Council has planned: Tuesday (10/6): Jammies and Pastries- students can come by Lafayette between 8-9 am in their best pajamas and receive an individually packaged donut from Donut Palace. STUCO will be stationed in the front, outside the Welcome Center. Wednesday (10/7): Holiday Day- students and staff can dress in their favorite holiday attire. In addition, each curricular department will be assigned a virtual background theme, and the class with the most spirit will earn a pizza party next semester. Thursday (10/8): Tourist Day- students and staff can dress in their favorite tourist attire. In addition, each curricular department will be assigned a virtual background theme, and the class with the most spirit will earn a pizza party next semester. Friday (10/9): Pep Assembly- Cheerleading, escadrille, and marching band will perform live; fall Senior athletes will be recognized. The pep assembly will be live-streamed and can be accessed at https://www.rsdmo.org/lafayette/athletics//Live-Events.aspx
