On Thursday night, the Kimmswick Merchants Association hosted their Annual Appreciation Dinner to acknowledge the assistance and camaraderie displayed between the residents, the City Officials, the Visitor Center employees, the businesses, and the Kimmswick Historical Society during the often hectic (perhaps disruptive) events in town. Twenty Historical Society members attended the dinner on the veranda at the Blue Owl. The restaurants in town, as well as the merchants, pro...vided the delicious food and beverages. Take a look at the buffet, it was very good. Sorry there is not a photo of the dessert table...perhaps I was too busy sampling the peach cobbler and carrot cake and the cookies and everything else. Thank You Kimmswick Merchants Association for a lovely evening.

The Kimmswick Historical Society was very proud to welcome the Third Grade Students, Faculty, and Parents from The College School today. Thank you to the KHS Historians who helped tell Kimmswick’s history: Nadine Garland, Diane Nagy, Mary Poitras, and Dianne Stang. The students also visited City Hall and met with Mayor Phil Stang and the City Clerk, Tammy Benack. Here are a few photos from the visit:
