**ADORABLE ADOPTABLE OF THE DAY!!** Meet Della! Della is a 2 year old female husky and shepherd mix. This gorgeous girl was rescued from life on a chain after her owner had a health problem and couldn't take care of she and her sister anymore. She is presently 50lbs but at a healthy weight, she will likely be around 65lbs. She has a sweet disposition and loves to play and love on her people. Her foster home is teaching her how to play with other dogs and toys as this is new... to her. They are working with her on basic manners, like not to jump when she wants attention. True to her breed, she will thrive and be happiest with an active family who will provide her appropriate exercise and training. She would do best in a home with a back yard with a tall privacy fence where she can run and play. This girl is wicked smart and is already potty-trained and crate trained. We had a very full day of outreach today in preparation for the snow tomorrow. 15 stops to deliver food, straw, dog houses, dog blankets, and cat food. We even gained a fluffy kitty into our foster program! Everyone meet Ingrid.

**ADORABLE ADOPTABLE OF THE DAY** Meet Billy! He is the sweetest and smartest boy. Just look at his video! He has been looking for his forever home for 2 years now. He is a 5-6 year old pitty mix, weighing around 50lbs. In his foster home he did extensive training with his foster Mom. He knows sit, lay, stay, give paw, turn, hand signals, leave it, crawl, heel, and loads more! SO SMART! He loves to learn new things and is very treat motivated. He would be great for agility ...training or as a running partner. He is great at fetch, tug, and loves to go in the car. He is potty trained and kennel trained! Billy is currently undergoing additional training at a training facility. He can be nervous in new situations and there he can be exposed to a variety of things, learning to be more comfortable. He is meeting people more happily in anticipation of the toys and treats they may bring him. A patient person who gives him space, time, some yummy treats, fun toys, and lots of positive reinforcement for all the things that he's amazing at should do well. Billy enjoys and gets along with other dogs but can be a bit rough with play so the training team can help assess whether he will be a good match with any other dogs in the home. He has done well with both male and female dogs, large, and small dogs. No cats please. He has an adorable face and is really affectionate with those he knows well. This boy will definitely come around and love you for life if you'll just give him a chance. He is 4-5 years of age and very handsome being nearly all white except for his black tail and ear. He always uses his litter box and loves to play and have fun. He has integrated with the dogs in his foster home and they coexist well but he mostly avoids them and would be happiest in a home without dogs. He is a very happy guy. Hi! My name is Billy and I am a handsome, 5 year old, black Pitbull mix with lots of life in my 50 lb body. Since living with my foster parents, I have been opening up to new things quickly. Foster Mom and I have been doing training together and I'm becoming a pro as you can see from my video. I know sit, lay down, stay, give my paw, turn in a circle, come without verbal command, leave it, crawl, heel, and lots of other cool tricks! I am not only smart, I am fearless and LO...VE to learn new things. So, how about taking agility or military classes with me? How about a great running buddy? I'm great at fetch and tug and love to go on car rides. I love to meet new people and am always a happy boy. I am potty trained and kennel trained. Billy will do best in a home where he is intellectually challenged because he is so smart and he likes to be doing things with his family, not just be a couch potato. Update- Foster Found! This 7 month old beauty is waiting on her chance to be safe from a life outdoors. She is super sweet and dog friendly. The story of a dog named Angel. Angel is a 10 year old dog that has lived outside her entire life. Angel’s dad reached out to us last week because she had some swelling on her face and he did not know what was going on (first pic). We visited and helped him with his vet appointment to get her checked out. She was prescribed meds and sent home. During her vet appointment it was found that she is Heartworm positive, has some mammary tumors that need to be removed, and she nee...ds to be spayed. The decision was made that Angel would benefit most by being surrendered to The Rescue Project so she can get the care she needs and recover in a home. TODAY ANGEL WAS PICKED UP BY OUR OUTREACH TEAM AND SHE STARTED HER NEW LIFE! Angel loves to have her paw held and she loves to give kisses. We will keep everyone updated on her progress. She does well with and enjoys playing with the other dogs in her foster home. She is trusted to free roam when she is home alone. She does not require crating and does not get into ...things. She does not chew or tear up things that are not hers. She is potty trained and does wonderfully on a leash. She listens very well and is very tolerant and affectionate with the toddler in her foster home. She previously lived with cats. She can jump a 4 foot chain link fence so she would do best on leash outside or with a tall privacy fence. This girl is a dream! Skipper is 3-4 months old and is learning what it is like to be a pet. He is progressing well in his foster home and is a very sweet boy but somewhat timid still. He loves to play with his siblings and other dogs. He would do best in a home with a patient adopter who understands he ...is still learning people are okay. Small children will likely scare him. He may better thrive in a home with another dog as well to help show him the ropes. The adult dog Scarlet who is pictured is his mother.
