Woody is an incredibly sweet 8 year old heeler mix. He is quite playful and energetic and loves to play with other dogs. He is very shy when first meeting new people. He can be skittish especially on leash. He would do best in a home with no small children, and we would prefer he go to a home with another dog to help him gain confidence. He needs someone who is patient and willing to go slow as he gets to know them. He will need to work on house training but he is very smart. MEET ZANE!!! Zane is a purebred Siberian Husky puppy around 9-10 months old (as of 11/1/2020). Zane can be a bit aloof at first when meeting new people, he is independent and likes to do his own thing. However once someone takes the time to give him TLC and allow him to feel more comfortable he is very sweet. He is good on a leash and would be great to take for hiking or jogging. Zane loves to play with other dogs and we'd love to see him go into a home with another dog so t...hey can wear each other out and to help him feel more confident around humans. Zane, being a puppy, has of course a lot of energy and would do best with another dog that is willing to play with him. He would not be a good fit for a home with cats or tiny dogs as he does have some prey drive. Please do your research on the Husky breed. These are not the dogs for everyone. They require a lot of exercise and stimulation. The are nomadic by nature and are known to be fence jumpers so we do prefer a minimum 6ft privacy fence or someone dedicated to taking Zane out on leash only. MEET JOE! A super sweet senior boy looking for his forever home! He is house trained, great with other dogs, and good with kids! So basically a perfect boy! We need foster homes! It's as simple as that. We've taken in a record amount of dogs this year due to the pandemic and we need foster homes. In our humble opinion we have the best foster program in Kansas City. Your foster dog will have access to free doggie daycare 7 days a week. Your dog will have access to free boarding should you need to go out of town or just need a break from fostering. We pay all expenses including providing food, heartworm and flea preventative and vet care (at our Vet).
