Lanae was happy and proud to donate 350 ounces of her surplus breast milk to Saint Luke's, which will feed many premature and newborn babies. She says it's truly a labor of love. See how to become a donor at saintlukeskc.org/milkbank.
Emily donated 650 ounces of breast milk to our milk bank. That's equal to five gallons! One ounce of milk helps at least three babies in the NICU. She said it's bittersweet to let go but helping nearly 2,000 babies in their most fragile state makes her heart burst.
#NationalTriviaDay True or False: 1 ounce of breast milk can feed 3 babies.
We don't want a lot for Christmas, there's just one thing we need. Milk. Learn more and donate today: http://bit.ly/2PFJp5J

Thank you so much to Lindsey, who donated 1,036 ounces of breast milk this week! Lindsey has nursed her two children and now gives her extra breast milk to premature babies to help make them stronger. The entire process was incredible and the staff is amazing! I am so blessed to provide more than my babies would ever need and to donate the most precious gift. Learn how you can become a milk donor: http://bit.ly/2NK0wRK.
Your act of generosity means so much to babies this holiday season.
Wanted to get the word out.......We are low on breastmilk and the number of donors at this time. To learn more about how to donate your breastmilk and start the donor screening process, please call 816-932-4888 or email [email protected]. Thank you so much!!
Your baby knows two things right from the start: that he knows and loves you, and that he's hungry!
