The Blue Hills Neighborhood Association broke ground last Friday on a pocket park dedicated to Jim Kissick, co-founder and President of Kissick Construction bef...ore his passing in 2018. Jim loved giving back to this great city, and especially in ways that allow people to enjoy the great outdoors. The new Blue Hills - Kissick Park will be located on 57th between Euclid St. and Michigan Ave. in the Blue Hills area of southeast Kansas City. Thanks so much to the Blue Hills Neighborhood Association for this special recognition. #KissickProud See more

Miles Excavating is excited to announce two project awards in October: For the City of Olathe, KS, we were the successful bidder for the I-35 interchange at 119...th Street. The project will reconfigure the existing interchange to a diverging diamond interchange (DDI). Construction will include the widening and rehabilitation of the bridges over I-35 and the BNSF Railroad. In addition, Renner Road and 119th Street between Barney Avenue and Strangeline Road will be widened and reconstructed. The project is scheduled for a one-year construction period, to be completed in November 2021. In Clay County, Missouri, we were awarded the reconstruction of the Homes Avenue bridge over a tributary to Fishing River.
