Hi All, We are pleased to announce our club’s Fall schedule: October 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th & November 7th we will have training at Southwest High ... 9:00am for Football 10:00am for Hurling Covid-19 Protocol- All players temperatures will be checked upon entry to the field. If you are not feeling well or are showing any symptoms of Covid-19, please do not attend. See you this weekend!!
Kansas City GAA members, friends, supporters, and spectators, This past weekend marked what would have been the USGAA National Tournament and Irish Fest. Both events are an integral part of the Club’s annual schedule. While these options aren’t available to the club in person this year, we are pleased to announce our first socially-distanced training session for this year. Saturday, September 19th we will hold training for football beginning at 9 AM and Hurling at 10 AM. The health and safety of our members are important. We will use a forehead thermometer to determine body temperature of each participant prior to training. We look forward to seeing all that can attend. Participation is on a voluntary basis only. Please contact Mark Hart ([email protected]) for location and any other inquiries.
COVID Update: KCGAA will resume formal training sessions once Phase III of Jackson County, Missouri's reopening plan commences (Phase II is effective from June 1). Please see guidelines from Jackson County Parks and Recreation below. Please reach out to the Board with any questions or concerns. https://www.jacksongov.org//Eastern-Jackson-County-Recover
Club member Stewart Dunn had a go at the 30 second roll lift challenge and got a great score of 20. Well done Stew! Who is going to beat his score?
Club Members- Thank you all for your efforts in registering for the upcoming season. The exact time we resume club activities is uncertain, but we are asking each member to register with the USGAA for the upcoming season by the USGAA's deadline of 30 April. If you haven't registered for the 2020 season already, please use the link below to register. Any questions or requests for further detail can be directed to Mark Hart.... http://usgaa.bonzidev.com/home.php
We want you back this season! ... is what we were going to say until this Covid thing blew up. Still, with the USGAA not relenting on the deadline for player registrations (4/30), we need to know if you are planning to play this year once the Gaelic Football & Hurling season resumes again. If so, we need the following information so we can register you in the StackSports system: 1. First & last name... 2. Current address 3. Phone number & carrier (i.e. T-Mobile, etc..) 4. Birth date & place of birth 5. Last 4 digits of ID & what it is (i.e. driver's license & state, etc..) Or you can register yourself by going to: http://usgaa.bonzidev.com/home.php Select 2020 Heartland Division => Register Now and under the Sign On button, click "New Here? Create an Account" (be sure to select Kansas City/KCGAC when you register) If you do online registration, please save your receipt and send it to [email protected] with reimbursement information (PayPal or Venmo email / account) as the Board voted and approved reimbursing the $63 registration fee if you register yourself and provide the receipt to the Board. If you are not planning to play this year, we'd still love to see you at our social events once the season resumes and, hopefully, we'll see you all soon! Stay safe!
